Pub #8 and our first Golden Pint award is The Middle Shop Leixlip Co. Kildare!
We planned a mini tour of Leixlip a couple of weeks back & we managed two pubs. Once we necked our first pint of Guinness in The Middleshop there was no leaving the place!
An absolute belter of a pint in here. After our trip around the town we would say its the best Guinness in Leixlip. If you are passing through the town you have to drop in and get a couple of Guinness into your beak – Creme de la mon!
Nice spot, grand for dropping in to watch the football. By the time we crawled out it was fairly busy. Regular live music, bitta bingo if that floats your boat, little area out the back, sound staff.. We will definitely be back to the middle shop Leixlip when our pub tour returns to the town.
