Pub 18 of our tour around every pub in the country 🍺

The Flowing Tide on Abbey Street in Dublin city centre. Location wise it’s right beside O’ Connell street, beside a Luas line and numerous bus stops. It is also very close to the Abbey Theatre.

This is a pub my grandparents and parents grandparents would have popped into over the years. Its also a former haunt of one of the We Love Pints crew. Many a college/school hangover after a few sneaky ones in here. The pub was recently refurbished/done up (Late 2022)  You can check out how it looked prior to the revamp in the pictures above and below this waffle! As you can see from the pics it had that old world feel. We will have to drop by again to check out how it looks now.

We hit a fair few pubs around Dublin City in early March of 2022. The Flowing Tide dished up the best Guinness on one of those early March days. We bumped into some nice regulars in here, football was on, decent pints so shag all to be complaining about. The pub is name checked in a For Those I Love song.

If you get the bus near here or happen to be strolling by, get in and get yourself a pint of Guinness!

Also If you are peckish after, head to Boojum just up the road. The grub is stellar
