The Courtyard – Leixlip Kildare

Pub #9 is The Courtyard which came as part of our very mini tour of Leixlip a few weeks back (We returned a couple of months later for the last couple)

The Courtyard is a hotel with a good sized pub and massive beer garden. It was built on the original site where Arthur Guinness created his brewing empire. On the day the Guinness was a bit ropey. We have drank here a lot though and they are usually fairly good so we won’t dish out a ropey rating. Their outdoor area is huge and has a massive pull down screen. It is a belter of a spot for summer time drinking.

The Courtyard Leixlip has plenty on tap. If you are a beer man or woman there’s Peroni and Birra Moretti (what more could you want) and the food menu is decent if you are feeling peckish. The staff are always bang on in here and we usually have a good one any time we pop by.

The Courtyard is a nice pub with a cracking outdoor area.
