Pub 41 – McLoughlins (Dun Laoghaire)
Pub #41 is McLoughlins (Visited April 2022)
McLoughlin’s Bar is pub 41 on the We Love Pints tour around every pub in the country. It’s the 5th pub on our trip around Dun Laoghaire. You will find McLoughlins on Upper George’s Street.
Straight off this was the best pint of Guinness I had in Dun Laoghaire up to this point (Still a couple of places to hit) The pint in here was an absolute belter. The pub itself is a comfy spot with a cracking food menu. Any menu featuring a Guinness related dish and I’m sold. The food is served from 12 – 8pm.
If you are not hitting the pints you could treat yourself to tasty Irish coffee or a Bailey’s hot chocolate. On the entertainment side of things, there is plenty of screens for the football and from June 2nd live music will be returning to the pub (We visited just after restrictions were fully lifted, live music is well and truly back in full swing now)
McLoughlins Dun Laoghaire is a nice spot which is about a two minute walk from The People’s Park. If you’re out for a stroll pop in for a pint.
