Pub #20 Hardy‘s Bar in Dun Laoghaire 🍺

This is a cosy spot that dishes up some lovely food. The bar is named after Hardy from Laurel & Hardy. The lads stayed in the Royal Marine Hotel (where the bar is located) for a good stretch back in the day. The views from the front of the hotel are phenomenal. If you are about the town definitely get yourself down there for a gander.
In the bar itself there are some cracking graphics and pictures on the walls and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very nice and the pints were decent. We were tipping away at the Guinness & Birra Moretti. On our second visit there was Guinness & Islands Edge going down the hatch and they were all decent enough pints.

This is worth a visit if you are a Laurel and Hardy fan or if you fancy some nice grub and a pint.

Lovely hotel there. Really nice bar, quiet. I find this to be a nice place to go with friends for a few drinks a chat and some dinner.

[…] The views from the front of the hotel are fairly sensational. This is a lovely bar dishing up nice grub. They have a bar menu and a restaurant. With the restaurant, you should book in advance. The pints of Guinness were decent enough, the Birra Moretti was crispy. Full post with pics available here […]
