Pub 4 – The Forty Four (Swords)

Located in the centre of Swords main Street, North County Dublin. The Forty Four is a busy spot. The pints are decent, staff are excellent and the food menu is small enough but the grub is nice.

The breakfast is absolutely monumental though. Served from 9am.. Highly recommended 

The Forty Four is also a hotel so if you need somewhere to stick the head down while you go on the piss in swords.. Get stuck in. If you are a fan of the egg chasing the pub runs a bus to Leinster Rugby games. There’s a big pull down screen above the fireplace for watching whatever sport is on that day.

The smoking area/outdoor area looks the business and would be a grand spot for a beer in the summer.

The pints of Guinness were solid, we have been here quite a few times, haven’t had a bad one yet. One of the crew took a shot at the Islands Edge and gave the thumbs up. Solid all round.
