Our next stop and the penultimate round of drinks on our tour of Ashbourne is Fogartys.

Fogartys Ashbourne is just a stone’s throw from the main street. We were here back in March and April of 2022. I’d had a heavy night the night before so the pints and grub here were well needed to level me off.

The staff were great, lovely lady serving on the floor and the lad behind the bar was a united fan so a good start.

I was on the Guinness and had a burger that was absolutely massive, tasty as well. On the food front they do a carvery, steaks and some other nice bits and pieces. Pints wise I stayed for a few here. The Guinness was ok. Didn’t blow the aul wig off but it done the job while I watched the match. There are plenty of comfy booths to sit yourself into and some benches outside if there’s a bitta sunshine and ye fancy tanning the nips. Looking for cocktails in Ashbourne, this seems to be the place.

If you’re looking to book a function, Fogartys have plenty of options for you to look at. They have areas in the main bar as well as their Bassment venue and Sub Zero Nightclub available for hire! They cover Christenings, Birthday Parties (21 and over), Local Club Event Nights and more.

Another solid stop on our epic pub crawl. One more stop in Ashbourne coming a little later then onto a new town.
