Pub #51 is Duffy’s Malahide
Pub 51 and our last stop off in Malahide is Duffys Bar.
Duffy’s is on Main Street and it is a cracking pub. From the minute we got into the place the barman was over chatting away to us. Very friendly staff. The floor staff were over to the table regularly enough to check for drinks needed. Great service and the Guinness was solid.
Really relaxed atmosphere, plenty of people about the place. Food was absolutely sensational. When there’s a Guinness pie on the menu I can’t pass it up. If you pop by here get one into your beak, tasty!
There were plenty of screens showing the sport, a bit of rugby on a couple and football on the others.
When we dropped by there was a good mix of people between a few heads watching the sport, families in for dinner and a couple on what looked like a dodgy first date.
Overall, we can’t recommend Duffy’s Pub enough. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the staff were great, and the food and drink are top-notch. If you’re in Malahide, be sure to pop in for a pint and a bite to eat.
