Pub 52 – TP Smiths (Dublin City)
Pub #52 is TP Smiths Dublin
TP Smith’s Bar & Restaurant is on Jervis Street Dublin 1. Situated in the heart of Dublin’s shopping district by Jervis St they are a stone’s throw from attractions such as The Jameson Distillery Smithfield, Guinness Brewery and The Leprechaun museum! The pub is on the Luas line as well. The Pub
It’s a traditional Irish pub with a fireplace and traditional decoration. There’s a nice spiral copper staircase at the front of the bar as well.
There are 3 floors offering a variety of options as per their website – It was just the downstairs open when we were in but there are another two floors (have a gander at the pics) The pub also takes bookings for private parties and corporate events. We were in on a Friday and it was fairly busy with a lot of heads in for food and a few pints.
The Grub
The food here is smashing. I had a Guinness stew and it was an absolute belter.
The pint of Guinness was solid enough. Staff were bang on. The barman looked after us well.
Would definitely go back for the stew. TP Smiths Dublin is a decent spot.
